Regardless of whether you think McCarron is a great person or not, I would put his integrity over Manziel's any day of the week.

AJ McCarron will always be the boogeyman to me He was the Alabama quarterback the first two years I was at LSU and for my senior year of high school after I committed to LSU and started following them and he owned us, so it's safe to say I don't like him. But I've never thought of him as a bad guy or someone who would throw someone under the bus like that. He seemed like he works hard and goes out and does what the coaches ask of him. I don't think you need Bama homerism to believe him over someone like Johnny Manziel.

There was an article about Manziel when he was in college about how similar he is to his dad and it kind of painted them in a sympathetic light but all I took from it is holy shite his parents are enabling the crap out of this kid.

As I understand it AJ went by the room and let JFF know that it was time to go.
We believe JFF was out most of the night and came in drunk.

I can understand JFF not remembering AJ just like I understand JFF not hearing the alarm clock when it went off.

He is responsible to get his own drunk arse up and go to work.

It's always crazy to me how these guys in our minds are basically always going to be college kids but AJ and Johnny are full blown adults now (albeit on very different paths).

Exactly. As the old saying goes, if you’re gonna be a man at night, you need to be a man in the morning. From stories I’ve heard, the Mannings do their fair share of partying, but they make it a point to show up on time. Manziel probably showed up late and disheveled so they felt he shouldn’t be there.

I’m not a McCarron fan, nor will I ever be, but for Johnny to throw blame his way is ridiculous.

So basically AJ must have snitched(lied?) because he was jealous. That is how I read it.

McCarron was jealous of Johnny and looked to undermine him. It's as simple as that.

And I think I would still give Johnny better odds of becoming a starting QB in the league.

Well, AJ will be starting Week 1 of the 2018 season at QB in the NFL, so I'll take those odds

I don't hate Johnny at all. I loved what he did at A&M and hope the best for him, but I'm going to call him on his bullshite.

Hard to be a starting QB in the league when no one will let you be on the roster to begin with and even in the CFL he isn't starting.
