MSU's performance this year was tragic. Our team was one of the most penalized in the conference, our offense sucked unless we played a shitty defense, Moorehead does not know how to use his timeouts properly, the dude is lost. If he doesn't get his shite together next year he should be canned

Something is telling me that MSU not being ranked in the preseason poll is not looking good. Just like Kentucky. Somethings are just short term and they go back to being the same ole team of the past.

The conundrum Cohen faced when making the hire is whether to hire a retread type head coach who because of experience of being a head coach plus the talent we had coming back might have been better for the program this year, but worse in the long run, or hire an up and coming assistant with no head coaching experience which might cost us a special season(possibly did) but help the program better in the long run. Cohen took choice two. The risks are we aren’t set up at State to have many special seasons. This team was already built by a good coach. We weren’t rebuilding or had just fired a coach. We were not a dumpster fire program like Arkansas, Tennessee, or Ole Miss. Not many first year coaches come in without growing pains. This team deserved better. I knew it could very well turn out like this. Now, Moorhead is on everyone’s shite list and if he doesn’t win(winning for State is 7-8 wins) he will be gone in two years. For this year Cohen rolled the dice with this hire and liost. The next two years will tell the final tale though.

The last thing I have to say is, Cohen better hope Moorehead improves drastically, and that Chris Lemonis does not shite the bed or he will be on the chopping block too.

We drubbed the exact same kentucky team last by 30+ points, we took the same team this year and lost by 21.

Don't take anything away from Kentucky. They had a great season.

I totally agree, given what we were returning on defense there is a reason our fan base was excited. Moorehead completely flubbed this season imo

Maybe look at it this way. He is a first timer as a head coach. Give him time. Barry Odom is still learning and is betting better but could have won more games but it was his lack of experience that cost him some games. Same with your head coach. Give it time.

I think it is important to remember who you are...this is called regressing to the mean.

State is a bottom tier SEC school with almost no nationally significant success in its history. It is a poorer, smaller version of Texas A&M.

State should be content with a winning season and a bowl game...seriously.

That game was 14-7 before garbage time TDs and that Kentucky Team was leaps and bounds better this year than last year.

There was a big difference between the defense and offense as far as discipline goes.

Honestly I think Fitz was a lot of the problem. I think he lacked necessary leadership skills to lead the offense

I said this to a buddy just a couple of hours ago. State needs to cut its loses now and find a fire breathing go-getter for a coach who'll shake the bushes for recruits and has the ability to connect with his players...he can hire some decent asst. coaches to do the coaching.

State lost a great coach . You guys need to man up and admit it . It’s going to be extremely hard to find anyone that will do as good as Mullen and stay as long as he did . Your a bottom feeder in the SEC .
