Per Jordy Culotta, deal is done.

Wow

ETA: I’m just relaying, haven’t seen confirmation from LSU yet

If I recall, Ed O wanted a low salary to free up money for LSU to pay its assistant coaches. He currently ranks 8th among SEC coaches which was tied with Chad Morris of Arkansas.

Good plan is my opinion, Enough money to take care of family and winning at dream job is priceless.

So...are y’all giving Esminger the boot and putting Brady as OC? I think you would have too because Brady will get HC offers.

Ensminger was never the long term OC. He didn't want to be. He was a stop gap until LSU found the right one. Ensminger is perfectly content to go back to coaching TEs.

He’ll be at LSU until he becomes a head coach or goes to the NFL.

No one else is paying that much for a coordinator.

Oh shut up Boerne

Your fan bases two favorite trolls, 3rd in the West, and 74-72 will both be gone after this year

It was always the plan for Brady to become OC when E retires. I’d imagine they’ll continue being co-coordinators until E decides to retire or become a mere analyst.

E never wanted the job and has zero ego, has always just wanted what’s best for LSU.

E is absolutely not now or ever being Forced out by LSU and O.

From all accounts, E and Brady together are like the dynamic duo of experience and modern ideas and work brilliantly together, as the on-field results definitely show.

Yes terrified. He just got paid.

What’s really scary is paying a coach $75 million and you’re still average.

I wouldn’t mind a Brady/Ensminger Co-Oc gig, to give Brady more play calling expertise to draw from

Umm, you’ll have to enlighten me... I don’t follow here.

The hottest assistant coach in American signing a multi-million dollar contract... not sure what your post has to do with anything unless you meant to respond to someone else

He will make more money as a coordinator at LSU than at any school that would be offering him a HC job.
