If I recall, Ed O wanted a low salary to free up money for LSU to pay its assistant coaches. He currently ranks 8th among SEC coaches which was tied with Chad Morris of Arkansas.
Is Jimmy Sexton his agent?

What’s really scary is paying a coach $75 million and you’re still average.
Let's go guys, lets keep this insecurity flowing.

Yeah, but he's likely gone after this year. -scared bama fans.
There’s also no QB behind Burrow either.
Kind of sucks there’s not a 5’11”, 175lb second coming of Johnny Manziel committed that’s going to step on campus and start right away.

He gets no HC offers this year. He has less than one year's experience as a college coach & even now is only a passing game consultant. The same title he had with the Saints. Never been a coordinator. And he's only 30 yrs old. In time, yes. And he's already earning his spurs as a recruiter as he's the one who got the 5 star TE away from UGA and bama. this according to the kid.

He's not gonna get head coaching offers.
Who's going to offer a 30 year old, who has yet to have a coordinating position a head coaching job? Definitely not a school that has the finance or the name to pull him away from LSU.

So what year are you expecting to compete in your conference, or even in your division?

Why would he get HC offers? He has barely been in the college game that would be an insanely stupid hire for a college to make.
He will get OC offers absolutely...but HC is a reach for someone who is a passing game cord right now.

He’ll be at LSU until he becomes a head coach or goes to the NFL.
No one else is paying that much for a coordinator.

It was always the plan for Brady to become OC when E retires. I’d imagine they’ll continue being co-coordinators until E decides to retire or become a mere analyst.
E never wanted the job and has zero ego, has always just wanted what’s best for LSU.
E is absolutely not now or ever being Forced out by LSU and O.
From all accounts, E and Brady together are like the dynamic duo of experience and modern ideas and work brilliantly together, as the on-field results definitely show.
Well written post and correct. If I may, I would like to add to it. 1) Coach O is a Louisiana guy and many on this site probably know it, some may not, He signed with LSU out of HS in 1979 (MAC's last recruiting class). Small town kid did not adjust to large campus, etc and went to NW LA State. Coach E is a Baton Rouge native and played QB at LSU. So from LSU perspective, you have 2 guys, the HC and current OC who have nothing but love for both their Home state and LSU. So at the point when Coach O, Coach E and Brady all feel Brady is ready to be OC and get total control of the car keys, that will happen. Great situation for LSU to be in, IMO.
