Schedule is rough but this team is bad and undisciplined. I don’t think Jimbo will ever beat Saban and won’t be able to take the Ags to the next level as long as he is still around.

Sumlin had 11 games against ranked opponents in his first two seasons. He won 5 of those, and in his 6 losses, he lost one by more than a TD.
Jimbo has two wins against ranked opponents in 7 games. And in most of those losses, Texas A&M isn’t even competitive; hanging his hat on a close loss to Clemson last year before they decided on a QB.
He’s very good at making the losses look a little better when the game is already decided though.

Thus far, his schedule is exactly what it was predicted to be this year.

Jimbo didn't go to atm to be an elite coach. He didn't go there to win championships He went there to earn a huge paycheck..
