Makes sense, he did work for Les.

As stated in the OP, this isn't a troll but simply a statement of fact.

I did a thread a while ago comparing Steve Ensminger to Jimbo when it comes to QBs.

Ensminger had a better record than Jimbo with his NFL QBs.

Just saying.

I wouldn’t say he wasn’t liked. He did his best, stepping in for the injured starter. He’s a tough kid that makes some good throws, but his pocket awareness was terrible and he made some bad, young QB decisions. You could do worse than having him.

That almost sounds like a les miles offense. Good lord.

Poor Sidewalk, posts more about A&M than the team he is supposedly a fan of although not a graduate of.

If that isn't obsession, then I don't know what else it could be.

Poor sidewalk

It isn't quite that bad but not that great either.

Fact: Jimbo developed Kellen Mond who beat LSU twice and is now in the NFL taken in the second round.

Except he was drafted in the third round.

"in the NFL" lol

Career stats:

2/3 comp for 6 yards total
0 TDd
64.6 passer rating

His own coach thinks he's terrible.

Quality development.

So does the 1 QB that LSU developed (debatable) somehow exempt them of this?

Think about that, an Ed Orgeron quarterback is going to come and take the starting job despite a "quarterback whisperer" being there for 5 years.

Kellen Mond was one of the best quarterback recruits in the country, y'all were excited as hell to land him.

Not sure why the narrative has now changed to reflect he was some garbage three star or something.

Can’t speak on that, as none of those are facts except “one of the best” which is very vague.

Kellen was the #7 rated QB in his class. He was selected in the 3rd round by the Minnesota Vikings, with the #66 overall pick in the draft.

QB’s ranked ahead of him coming out of high school:

Davis Mills:
Drafted 3rd round by Houston Texans, 67th overall pick.

Hunter Johnson:
Redshirt Senior at Clemson. Never started.

Tua Tagovailoa:
1st rounder

Jake Fromm:
5th Rounder

Tate Martell:
Transferred twice, no longer playing football.

Jack Sears:
Transferred from USC to Boise, has played in less than 10 games overall.

Kellen Mond:
3rd rounder, #66 overall.

He got drafted higher than 5 out of the 6 QB’s rated higher than him from his high school draft.

I’m not using this as an example to say Jimbo is a QB whisperer, but I am using it to show you than so much of this is luck. Very few of these guys pan out as expected.

I would also like for you to provide me a list of other head coaches that have a “developed” more NFL draft pick QB’s over this same time frame.

It seems Mond was blamed for all shortcomings and that things would turn for the better when he would be gone. Yet the next guy was to blame as will the next.

There’s a pattern here pointing away from the real problem. But I’m good with it.

Oof, shhh, you aren't supposed to bring up those facts

Kellen Mond was supposedly the problem but Jimbo was never able to replace him over three whole years, not with a transfer, not with his own recruit.

Kellen Mond will likely go down as Jimbo's best A&M quarterback when it's all said and done.

Yeah, I hate I said that out loud. Hopefully it’ll be dismissed.
