Every Championship since CFB could draw flies was paid for in some capacity or another. It’s nearly all above board now. Own it. I think it’s great that TAMU got creative and found a way to lure top talent. But don’t pretend that NIL isn’t the deciding factor in this TAMU class vs past classes.
And if you’re an Auburn fan don’t hurl accusations at UGA and AL while implying Auburn hasn’t when when the battle buzzards of the jungle plains have been on probation more and more seriously than either. UGA has forfeited no games, has never been ineligible for a bowl or the conference, has had no tv bans, and has forfeited nominal scholarships if any.

Hilarious.I quoted the exact wording from the NCAA and NIL on here numerous times.I also know the exact wording of the Texas law AND the court case that made NIL possible.

Lost a lot of respect for Jimbo after that rant. I mean how stupid does he think the rest of the country is? It’s one thing to gloss over it, but to sit and say they woukd pull this class without NIL and just off their ‘hard work’ is totally laughable…..

Jimbo, nobody wants to play for A&M and recruiting history has shown that. First year of NIL and A&M has the number one recruiting class in the nation. A lot of we’re born at night Jimbo, but we weren’t born last night.

This is the exact reason they are getting them. Outbidding almost everyone or the ones where money matters the most. When you 17-18 extra thousands are a lot. They may never get that payday again.

NO top recruit would want to go to College Station unless he was getting a truckload of cash. I’ve seen A&M. It’s a horrible place filled with really strange people smack in the middle of nowhere Texas. It’s like some type of cult there. No Dumbo, A&M is NOT the best place in the country to go to school. Get real! And if you can’t stand the heat maybe it’s time for you to go back to the ACC. You looked like you are really losing it, Buddy.

When I lived in Texas - a horrible 16 months I’ve tried hard to forget- when anyone described the A&M folks the term “”Dumb Aggie” was always used. Two words that just went together
