Show me a link of Johnny running over a linebacker (of an SEC defense at that) to score a TD and I'll reconsider. I'm waiting.....
So Cam Newton can truck a guy better than Manziel. Who cares? He still put up more stats as a freshman than Newton did in his junior year. I'm not saying Manziel is better, but to say there is no debate is being intellectually dishonest.

debatable. he gets VERY careless at times. his WRs bailed him out a couple of times.
I do honestly believe he is as dangerous at this point. However, I really think Cam was more "unstoppable" than him. Tebow was more consistent over the years.
IF JJF pulls off a good encore this year, then he will be in the discussion......but he will still not have guided his teammates to a Natty and THAT is the mark of a champion.

JFF is so different from Tebow it's hard to even know where to start. Tebow was a QB trapped in a TE's body. He honestly reminded me of Bucky Richardson with a better arm. Loved to hit people and was a ferocious leader but put on an NFL team where you have to have a quick release, hit tight target windows, and read complex D's quickly and both were toast.
Johnny's not like Cam either. Cam is more like VY with better mechanics. Big guys with good speed and huge arms. Cam is also smarter than VY but he is no rocket scientist as his Gruden interview showed. Both rely too much on their natural athleticism and size though and eventually it catches up.
Johnny is hard to pin down but he is mostly like another HOF SEC QB, Fran Tarkenton. Most here don't remember Fran as a player but he is the closest I have seen:

Is Manziel really 6'1 210 lbs?
I didn't realize he was that big. He certainly doesn't look it.

He's 72 inches even, with no shoes. And he is playing at over 200 this year. He's recognizably thicker.

Soooo... Who would you say is better? The guy who can do all that Johnny can PLUS "truck a guy" or just do what Johnny can?
Serious question so think about it. Considering all things equal, would you want Newton or Manziel as your QB? I respect your opinion

Tebow was once able to win a game 13-3. If JFF scored 13 points, his team would lose by 20, to Sam Houston State
I know you are not bringing up defense into this. LSU's offensive line was horrible all year and in turn our run game was terrible. Tebow had just had a concussion the week or two weeks prior. All he did was dive play dive play. If Manziel had t do that, he'd be crushed.

He atleast needs an SEC title before i agree. And i'm not hating, i think Johnny is great and i love watching him play (except against LSU) but he needs some type of title before i agree with this.

Johnny doesn't have a good RB,
Disagree. Malena and Williams can play.
I do agree with your assessment though. JFF has the best combination of passing and running ability I have ever seen.

JFF is better than Cam and Tebow.
National Championships are a valid argument to bring up but if JFF had those Florida or even that Auburn D/ST he would get one.

Simple answer. Cam and Tebow won championships, Little Johnny will not

Johnny does have a better line though.
Johnny seems to make his receivers better, I can't say that for Cam
This is a lie. Cam had Darvin Adams which was his best WR, but wouldn't start for a bunch of teams. He had Dyer and that was it. TAMU has 2 five star backs and Malena to hand the ball off to.
Had Swope (4.3 WR with a mean streak) and Evans (a 6'5 beast) last year. Has Evans (already has half the yardage he had all last year, in 3 games) this year and just picked up a 5 star WR in the offseason.
Johnny has had the best line minus Alabama last year, and possibly the best line this year.
Auburn's defense was about as good as TAMU's last year. Did yall forget that all they had was Nick Fairley?
ETA: Darvin Adams, was going off in my head.

The over/under on the length of JFF's NFL career is 7 games. That scrambly sh*t won't work against NFL linemen and LBs, he's not tall enough to see over his own OL, and if he does try to run, he's going to get hurt.

Cam Newton is the best college football player I have ever seen.

SMH at the OP. Your logic is flawed.
Cam is easily better. Is probably go with Johnny over Tebow though.
