I think there is Bama and a lot of other folks below. How close each is and who deserves to be in front of who in the next 7 or 8 teams, who knows? Still too much football left. At this point in the season, I don't think where we are ranked is that important as the schedule will take care of us if we shouldn't be there.

This. Every time i think one of our SEC teams is ranked too high i look at the other teams ranked around them and understand.

Well said. Not really responding to UF this year one way or another but this concept in general. Certain types (media or just fans) love to scream that someone is overrated. These people usually just leave it at that, and neglect to point out exactly who is underrated.

Deep thoughts.

I sure don't. They should probably be behind Kansas State and Oregon State.

Jesse Palmer has the intellect of someone working a fast food drive through... he is an overrated hair piece.

It's just one of those things that will work itself out.

If they go 13-0 they will be 1 or 2 and will play for national title. If not then thy wont play for national title.

I mean it really doesn't matter who so who was overrated at this point.

I know you meant this jokingly/trolling but you are really correct. Wins over AM, UT, and LSU are better than wins over Arky and OM for Bama. IMO

I said the other day that #4 was too high. Too high, too quick.

Yes, we beat LSU but LSU was also overrated at #4.

Agree.

Also, for as much as everyone seems to get upset at the "eye test" and "preseason expectations," when someone actually ranks teams early in the season based on them actually beating other good teams there's no end to the ridicule if that ranking doesn't match the "eye test" and "preseason expectations."

Florida probably isn't the 4th strongest team in the country but it's hard to say they don't deserve to be ranked there right now until someone beats them or does more than they have.

he also thinks Chizik is a really good coach and Auburn fans need to get off his back.

They handled us pretty well in the second half.

I wouldn't sweat Palmer. Even though he's a former Gator QB, he's still just an ex-pat Canadian at heart, budday.

We beat Oregon 5/10 times.
We beat SC 5/10 times.
We beat GA 5/10 times.
We beat Bama 2/10 times.

UF is good, but LSU's offense can make alot of teams look better than they are.

The mighty UF offense was held to 47 yards and no scores in the first half. Unfortunately for the Tigers they had to play two more quarters.
Neither team played a complete game IMO.

I don't know if they're 4th best or not. What I can see with my own eyes is they are big, strong, fast, aggressive and well-conditioned. Throw in well coached and they're a damn tough team.

Who knows, maybe he's right.
Palmer is still a 500 lb bag of grade A Canadian moose piss though.
