He also had 1 catch against Texas for 3 yards, competing against a similar roster.

Texas’s entire defensive plan was to stop smith as he absolutely torched Oregon and UT. He’s the best WR in America

I think Julio was more of a physical freak (which is crazy because Smith is freaky, too) but Smith plays the position better than Julio did at the same age. I think if you drew a line between Larry Fitz and Julio, Smith would fall somewhere along it.

He is the Lawrence Taylor of the offensive side of the ball...... You plan your entire gameplan defending him he is so good. He is one of the few "gravitational" players in the sport where he is defended by 2 DB's that put a bracket around him. My comparison (at his age) is Megatron or Randy Moss.

He’s too big for Travis Hunter

Surprised Oregon hasn’t had Phil Knight offer him a shoe deal to transfer, he torched the frick out of them both times he played them

Almost totally shut down when we played a couple weeks ago, elite players find a way to get open.

Yes yes I know we didn't win, but we did limit your biggest offensive weapons for the most part. See you game one next season.
