I understand the timeline. Just surprised Holloman was able to cover it up this long or that she didn’t report it sooner. It’s a shame but I’m glad he was swiftly kicked off. Unacceptable behavior.
Doesn't seem so much that "Holloman was able to cover it up"... The victim elected not to report it until prompted by friends/family..

For nearly a year, the incident was kept low-key by both parties. Holloman did not say if he had discussed it with anyone outside of those present at the event. The accuser said she only confided the event to her best friend. According to the report, only recently she divulged the secrets to her sister’s boyfriend, a police officer with the Atlanta Police Department.
On June 1, one day before she went to the University of Georgia Police, the victim talked to her sister’s boyfriend and her sister, who then told her mom. They all agreed that she should bring file a report with UGAPD.

Why did it still take 19 days?
2-3 weeks to conduct a thorough investigation, speak with all parties, multiple in person meetings... conclusion was likely reached at some point this week with the announcement coming today because Friday news cycle...

You are thinking of Bama or LSU queerbait
I will stick up for Auburn on this one.
Bama took our last player kicked off for assault.
LSU took a previous player kicked off for sexual assault.
LSU doesn't get to chuckle at this one.

If that was how it worked then no one would get to laugh at LSU over Wade or OLOL.

I’m going to have to commend Kirby for kicking his arse off. Good move.

Kirby’s trash, his hand was forced on this one.

Yeah. If true, then they did the right thing to dismiss him. Kids these days.

First, this sucks really bad. That is our best receiver.
Second, have fun with this Gator fans. What goes around comes around.

At least they did the right thing dismissing him instead of getting the charges dismissed

Yep. He deserves to have it posted everywhere if it’s true (which appears to be the case). In no way should we do anything to try and make this an easier situation for him. He brought it on himself.
Exactly. He's still young enough to learn and become a better person BUT he's also old enough to be shamed and bear the punishment he gets for his actions.

This means we lost our top 5 pass catchers from 2018
And your top tight end
And your top running back
And your OC
No worries though. UGA will be fine.

Yep. I am glad about that. Some teams would protect them and just suspend them, then let them back on the team.

Pretty sure Swift is still on the team. Did something else happen? Man, losing all of that, it will be a miracle if we beat Florida this year, won't it?

We will still whip Florida’s arse.

Yeah that's a super weird response. Message boards be serious! Oh no, Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee fans gon' troll now! What else is new?
I mean I get it.. a lot of fans are thinking only about the consequences to their team when shite like this happens. But when it comes stuff like this we're not talking about experimenting with drugs but violent offenses that are already serious and could escalate (that's a particular thing with domestic violence). Fans have to step back and say 'wtf. this is beyond my team having a good player.'

Yep. I really liked the kid as well. Seems like he comes from a great family as well and his Mom is one of the most loved moms on the team. Seems like he made a rash decision to being hit, but it’s unacceptable and has no place on this team.
I pray and hope he’s learned from his mistake and that he’s able to use it to impact others in the future so they don’t make the same mistake he did.
Honestly just mind boggling.
