Technically Stetson Bennett is still eligible for ROY as well

I don’t think the redskins will be that good for him to win it and I still think Daniels will need a year to kind of feel things out, it’s the nfl, rookie qb will have ups and downs

Commanders were last in the NFL in Total Defense last year.

Sound familiar?

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Next to Deshaun Watson, he's probably the best QB Alabama faced in the Saban era

It took a while for me to come to this conclusion, but as an LSU fan, scolding hot take, I think Jayden is every bit as good of a prospect as Burrow and reasonable minds could conclude he is better.

His OL is gonna suck. That's gonna be his problem.

I know man it’s a shame he’s such a stick in the mud.

He should have been the first pick without debate

Memo to bama and uga fans, your team would not beat the worst team in the nfl
Let that sink in

Since it’s Bennett he will likely be eligible for several years. Probably win it at age 34.

Jayden Daniels should be really good. But his build scares me. He is thin, his bio still says he only weighs 210. And while he is fast and shifty, he took some solid squared up licks in college. I still remember the Ole Miss tackle that sent him flying backwards. If he takes the same type licks in the NFL I question how long he can remain healthy. Some guys are better at taking hits than others. But all it takes is one wrong one in some cases.

I could see that

Here's the thing about Daniels- he was incredibly elusive in 2022. So much so, that given his build, I wondered if someone may draft him as an "athlete", and hope to make a top-tier WR out of him. Like Antwaan Randle El.

And then in 2023, he came out and... played pocket QB. Yeah, he still scrambled, and still had dedicated runs. But for the most part he dropped back in the pocket, QUICKLY did his progressions and hit the open man. Took the checkdowns when needed, pushed the ball when he could.
He bent the defense, but he knew that he did, and how to take advantage of it.

You are worried that dirty plays like the Alabama one will only result in a personal foul in the NFL instead of an ejection? I guess it is possible.

No, I am worried he will get another concussion. Or have his leg rolled up. Or his shoulder mangled. It happens a lot. As do late hits in the NFL. And like the hit on Jayden against Alabama, they are usually flagged. You remember there was a flag against Alabama on that play for roughing the passer don’t you?

I hope Jayden Daniels has a long and successful career in the NFL, even though it will mean the LSU fans on here will beat their chests, or something, over it.
