Or how about this -

“We know they have a lot of National Championships but they do not prioritize your health and future the way we do. Heck I saw one of their pitchers throw 135 pitches the other (day). Does that sound healthy to you?”
It is all about giving HCs time to settle down and get the players they wanted that fit in their style of football.
This is about using common sense. I am happy that Drinkwitz is elevating the football team in general. Even Gary Pinkel couldn't do it. He did enough but Drinkwitz is going to be a much better HC than Gary Pinkel. This isn't about Mizzou. It is all about Alabama losing to 2 unranked teams. One in a blowout loss close to the end of the season. I never question that Mizzou was never good enough to make the playoffs because the team wasn't quite ready to compete for a championship yet. So far Drinkwitz is building the program to get blue chip players. Soon he will have Mizzou playing in the playoffs. DeBoer had some bad losses in his first year at Washington. Kirby Smart had something like that in his first year at UGA. Nick Saban did the same thing in his first year at Alabama. There is no shame for losing that many games in their first year at their new school. Some may never improve like we are witnessing BK at LSU. Maybe with the much improved roster that might change but I doubt it because BK isn't a championship HC at this level.

Take a deep breath. I know you don’t believe this.

Wow he is not a three true outcomes kind of hitter, I guess.
I want to see your arithmetic on this one.

ETA okay I see now we start at 1985 and don’t get a win until 2017.

Long time ago. Won us as many Nattys as your 3 did you, too

But not as many final fours or SEC championships

It’s a tournament that we won! We know little more about these things than you do numb nuts.

Did LSU win that tournament last year?
Missouri hasn’t beaten a more talented SEC team since 2018. That drought is at least 5 years longer than all of the other SEC teams old and new.

Not repeatable as we are seeing with Bama. Then a flash in the pan season with Burrow.

So 3 flash in the pan/unrepeatable seasons in 20 years. That is something.
They are a good team. If they win they might be the second best two loss national champion in the last 20 years. 2007 LSU won their conference, never lost in regulation, and beat the brakes off the Buckeyes in the national championship game.

I will never understand the mentality of fans that chalk up losses for their team before they happen.
Mizzou didn’t beat any of the top 10 in that image.

One game doesn't make your team better than the other. That is why there are 12 regular season games. There is a final poll at the end of each season. That matters more than playing 1 game against the other when the final poll is what makes the difference where each team is at the end of the season.

Here is the thing with that - Mizzou didn’t beat any of the SEC’s top ten teams. They padded their win total on bottom feeders. Same thing happened with Mizzou last year - they couldn’t beat any of the top teams.

Ok. Let me flip it. How was that any different that Bert exploiting the defensive sub rule or Kiffin exploiting the injury rule?

It has only taken about 20 years to catch up.
