Is this speculation or have you heard something?

Both seem to be team guys. Not sure how a baseball coach can be at that level completely selfish.

I’m just an observer and I post truths. I was too young to remember, but Oklahoma beat Kansas three times in the regular season and conference tournament in the 1988 NCAA Basketball season. Kansas won the game that mattered most, the national championship.

The regular season you have to do well in just to be ONE of 64. In the end, all that matters is who is left standing.

Tennessee fans can brag and boast all they want about regular season wins over LSU. But LSU knows what it is like to finish the job and not just relish on mid-season highs.

You’re a kiss arse who is trying to suck up to the most populous fanbase on the board in order to farm upvotes.

Did Oklahoma even make a bowl game? I seriously can’t remember. Go flex about some softball trophies.

That’s great and all and I hope you can hold those fond memories of seasons past, while the Vols get to own the present.

It was just last year for Christ’s sake. Oh and a half dozen times before that. The problem for you is when you’ve NEVER WON ANYTHING, every season that doesn’t win a championship is a let down. Prepare for another let down.

Yep, always owning the present.

That is until the post season when it all falls apart.

I remember back in 97 at the end of the regular season LSU needed one win against Alabama to win the regular season SEC championship. They went to Alabama and lost the first game 4-6, and lost the second game 2-28, but came back on Sunday to win the last game of the season 6-4, and thus took home the trophy.

That same year, LSU lost to Alabama in the SEC Tournament finals. LSU went in to the NCAA tournament 2-3 vs Alabama.

After having run through the regional to advance to Omaha, the Tigers would go 3-0 before meeting Alabama in the final. LSU would go on to win that game 13-6, and take home the national trophy.

Long/short: After going a combined 3-3 vs Alabama in 1997, LSU would take home the regular season SEC title as well as the national title, both over Alabama.
