Hamstring. Likely requiring or considering some surgery from what I've read.

He's been dealing with hamstring issues all season. Decent chance he'd have missed this game anyways.

This news has been click bait, he wasn't going to be cleared to play. The doctors have shut him down. His chance of re-injury is too high. I mean I'm no fan of tOSU, but sh**ing on this player for this is not a fair take.

Agree with this.

Nvm, if he’s actually hurt.

I don't think he'd quit on the team if he thought he'd be ready to roll come NYE.

He tried to play in the 3rd or 4th game of the year before Wisky and after the by week. He reinjured himself, or injured something new during those games.

His quote was he wouldn't be cleared in time for the game. He's tried to play 3 times this year

Hammy... the guy has only played in 3 games and has 5 catches because he keeps getting reinjured. Not like he's some starter all conference player sitting.

Well there goes the excuse for Fournette opting out.

Fournette caught plenty of hell from the LSU fanbase (some still do) and everyone else when he opted out of his bowl game. Not sure what you're trying to prove here. If what he did in 2016 happened this year, it would almost be be expected and surprising if he did play. Fournette at least tried throughout the season to play but kept reinjuring his ankle. He didn't shut it down until the last game of the regular season. Guys in his position now would have probably shut it down once LSU was effectively out of contention for a conference title race the first week of November. He played game 1 against Wisconsin, sat out against Jacksonville St, played against State and Auburn, sat for a month and missed games against Missouri and USM, played against Ole Miss/Bama/Arkansas/Florida, then sat the last game of the regular season against A&M. He wasn't ever going to get 100% healthy without several months of healing with the injury he had.

If we were able to play. He has been out since September.

Much like AD coming back, he wouldn't have gotten the ball much.

Harrison is their go-to WR and unless he is worth about 4 td's I don't see OSU winning.

Is it torn? Seems like he could get it healed enough by January to play, unless its shredded or something.

He's seen tape of Georgia's defense apparently and doesn't want to affect his draft status.

Kidding, I hate this.

This is the exact same thing people said about Nick Bosa lol and it obviously had zero effect on his draft stock or success in the NFL

Yeah, NFL GMs dgaf about that kind of stuff. Jamar Chase sat an entire season and it affected him none.

This is a bit different. He's been out (and still is) for most of season with a hamstring injury. So this is more him acknowledging he won't be healthy enough in time and is focusing on rehab/draft.

Most posters here will not let the facts get in the way of a chance to ignorantly bash the kid.

Wait what?

Dude was an all-american as a true sophomore, playing with 2 first rounders

He broke OSU records for catches and yards in a season as a soph

Hopefully he means how he has affected the team this year. Obviously he was a stud last year.

Nah y'all still defend it using the injury angle. Yet here you are criticizing JSN.
