Looking back it’s kinda crazy Mullen and Meyer actually went with Tebow. Just goes to show as a freshman cams future was in serious doubt due to his immaturity. He always had the talent but you knew for a fact Tebow was always gonna be available Saturday and wouldn’t be out doing dumb shite

I'd take 3-4 years of Tebow over 1 of Cam all day every day. I'd take 3-4 years of Cam over 3-4 years of Tebow.
This is all assuming we're exclusively talking college football.

Cam had a better season of College football than any of Tebows years
Record-wise, but Tebow's Heisman year stats stack up fairly well. Tebow played 1 fewer game but had more passing TD's, rushing TD's and passing yards. Accounted for more total yards per game. Was the first to hit 30 passing TD's and 20 rushing TD's, and did it in the regular season.

He was behind Tebow. I thought it was interesting Jenkins said they would've won the whole thing with Cam at QB too

Cam's the best college QB of the BCS era and probably the best of the modern era.
You could take him and put him on 20 different teams in 2010 and he would have won a National Title.
As for pro prospects in college, no, he's obviously not the best, but if you wanted one college qb to win a title over the last 30+ yrs, Cam is the guy. And I say that as someone who is not a Cam fan, but his production in college is undeniable.

He’s not that good Nick Fairley bailed Auburn out a decent amount by making key sacks, stepping on players and being a thug piece of shite. Thankfully karma gave him heart problems.
It all comes down to play calling and what coordinator can play to his strengths. He isn’t winning on any of the west coast or big ten (sans OSU) schools that don’t have the proper athletes on the defensive side to supplement his play style as well as the progressive play callers to scheme around his strengths. The Big 12 however or some ACC teams maybe are a different story.

Cam. I still believe if Auburn hadn't outbid us for Cam State could've won the natty that year. State went 9-4 with Chris freaking Relf that year and only lost to Auburn by 3 and were a dropped 4th down pass from tying or going ahead with less than minute remaining. Cam was that good.

Obviously Tebow crushed it that season, that’s why he won the Heisman. But you can’t honestly say that season was equal to an undefeated National Champion season.

Tebow is a better athlete, and person by miles. Plus Tebow's wife is better looking than Scams boyfriend.

Of course, which is why I said record-wise that year didn't stack up. Was just comparing what they did as individuals stat-wise in their Heisman years.
