Rumors circulating.

AU and UA knowledgeable fans, thoughts? How good of a coach and recruiter is he?

Compare Alabama's linebacker play last year to their play this year and come to your own conclusion. We were without McClain, however.

Very good coach and recruiter. Would be a very good choice.

As a LBs coach or DC? Because Texas Tech's defense was awful this year.

Sounds like LB coach. Nothing official about position yet. It's TT, and a new scheme, too hard to judge IMO.

Uf would have a giant recruiting gateway to the Mobile area if they hired Willis..

I think he is a good coach. Not sure about his ability to be a DC.

For the same reasons Applewhite left an OC position for a RB coach position...? Sometimes a situation just doesn't fit.

Willis is a better recruiter than a coach in my opinion. Of course, sometimes that is better than the other way around if the right DC is put in place.

Why ask AU fans about defense?

You mean forced out because the HC wasn't happy with his performance?

I'm not sure you know what the definition of traitor is. Between Willis & AU, AU's the traitor.
