hey lsu guys can u tell me what is the latest on this guy. i read quite a bit ago that he was an lsu lean but nothing since then. I ask cause he is visiting texas for camp....

texas is gonna be a run first philosophy, thats what mack wanted the whole time but he never hired the coaches who could make it work without a superhuman qb...

have you guys heard anything about jeff grimes coming to texas? Most of our insiders are claiming he's the guys....

more info- texas first choice as o-line coach was bob bostad- wisconsin, but he was not going to come here with out coordinator paul chryst. The though on Jeff grimes is that he will lock down the o-line recruits and he's familiar with our new oc harsin from boise, plus possible ncaa sanctions might...

longhorn insiders are saying that grimes is the top candidate for the texas o-line job, and some think he'll be announced wednesday. He's a texas native, plus his relationship with christian westerman puts him at the top of the list....

i think it has to do with malzhan possibly leaving. Also the only reason he decommits is if texas hires a complete incompetent o-line coach, but were looking good for bostad from wisky so i think ut will lock him up....

supposedly wilcox wants to get rid of chuck smith and hire cals d-line coach lupoi,and that if dooley doesnt do this, he might go elsewhere, and texas comes up because we have a vacancy at d-line coach...

mack brown wants an INSTANT solutions and all of our big donors have said that if he does not get a malzhan/holgerson type they will stop donating, also they're willing to pay whatever to get a stud coordinator to get the program back on track....

word around austin is that malzhan is texas #1 choice and that the donors are willing to pay 7 figures for a guy like him, the thinking is that even if he leaves us after one year, it will be worth it because of his instant impact....
