James Franklin spoke to a high school in Macon, Georgia, as the special guest, and he took a moment to single out Nick Saban, saying, “You know that guy at Alabama Nicky Satan? I’m going to outwork him. That’s our plan every single day”.
No disrespect to Franklin, I think he is a fine coach and he has those 'Dores playing with a lot of heart. He just took Vandy to it's best record in damn near 100 years. He took advantage of beating 3 SEC teams that lost their coaches at year end, he beat the newbie to the SEC, and he squeeked by Ole Miss - the went for the kill and ended up with 9 wins.

He's just taking a page out of the Lane Kiffin playbook and calling out the baddest guy on the playground.
I give him credit for having some swag, but the problem with calling out the biggest badass around is that eventually you have to back it up.
