Their DL is outstanding, but they have deficiencies in the secondary.

Remind you of anyone?

Clemson's defense is considered better than last year's, right?

Definitely their front 4. I think their LBs aren't quite as good, but are still pretty good. I don't know a ton about their secondary but I do remember the group last year was pretty green (because I remember in 2015 they had a bunch of guys graduate).

I feel like I know their roster as well as I do SEC West teams at this point.

He can't have an off game like that again.

What makes you think he had an off game?

12/22, 112 yds, td
82 yds rushing

He's not capable of much better than that. Alabama just got beat. They weren't as good. Quit thinking Alabama beat themselves.

It’ll get glossed over in all the hype, but Bryant is a mediocre at best passer.... bama should be able to stop the run and put the game in his hands.

Jalen just doesn't seem motivated anymore

He better learn to make more than 1 read before tucking and scrambling.

I look for Clemson to win. Hopefully I’m wrong, but their defensive front will look to shut down Bama’s run game and force him to pass.

The problem in the game last year was our play-calling. We averaged something like 5-6 yards per rush, but basically went full air-attack most the game which was retarded. Basically the same thing we did against Auburn a couple of weeks ago. If we will pound the ball, bleed the clock and keep our D fresh...we have a shot. Hurts has some strengths, but sitting in the pocket looking for his 2nd and 3rd read isn't his thing. We should have a gameplan that reflects that. And Saban should demand it of his OC. Sometimes I feel like Saban gives his OC's a little too much freedom. Tell them to pound the rock or he'll take over playcalls.

Easy, run the clock to 5 seconds before snapping. We win.

I have confidence in all phases except qb. Back when we ran the single back off tackle running game, it didn't really matter who our qb was. When we went to this zone read, clapping 15 times, looking at the sideline for a play and audibling 3 times, our an became the focus and we didn't have that type of talent on our roster.

It was absolutely funny when we acted so shocked when Bateman, barnett, cornwell, Ely and we lost Jake fromm. These guys were drop back guys and were told we were going to a running qb. Barnett had heisman written all over him in mcelwains offense but this zone read bullshite has now emphasized a qb who runs. Let auburn run this crap. We were Bama when we lined up and said here we come. Look at the numbers. Drop back qb, 4 national titles. Running qb, Sims and hurts, zilch.

The Media says jalen is cool and collected. I think he shows muted emotion and it’s hard to know what’s with him. He’s very slow to read defenses and reverts to his pass or flee instinct. I think after two seasons that jalen is a chameleon. If he shows up he’s capable of beating Clemson. Key is Bama defense. I know it’s cliche but Bama must win time of possession. Jalen is the secret to Bama winning it all. I hope he can slow the game down and connect with Ridley and his other very talented receivers.

I think Bama o-line must block and allow our runners to setup jalens passing. If like auburn our run game gets shunted, we’re in for a long game.

Clemson is a fine team. Clemson may win but it will be like the last two games. Down to the last few minutes and the refs. Hopefully the refs will let them play.

Gonna be great game.

The honest truth is, if he couldn't run, he wouldn't sniff college football. He's just not good enough as a passer. Slow reads and mediocre accuracy.
