What are you expecting? I was teasing about Tua pre LSU game, but in that game I thought he had a really good game.

Then Auburn he looked bad- really bad

Clemson should be able to get after him.

Is he streaky - was Auburn a fluke was LSU?

Until the auburn game he was lights out. If he can't turn it around the clemson game will be over by half time. He can't have an off game like that again.

We're trying to fit a circle into a square with Jalen. It ain't working.

If he struggles he should be replaced, but CNS probably won't do it.

what is his problem consistent accuracy?

he was fitting it in tight windows vs LSU

so frustrating

that said it was based off him scrambling- does he not make good quick reads?

I don’t recall the details but I thought he played pretty well vs Clemson last year. Bama scored enough to win.

Not saying their D was to blame as they played pretty good most of the year. Clemson just had a pretty special QB.

Hurts didn't play well IMO. He can't execute the offense efficiently enough to keep the damn defense rested, which had bama defense gassed by the beginning of the 3rd qtr. If he can't handle the ball on 2nd and 3rd down again, Clemson will win just like Aubrun did. If hurts can get a few key first downs to extend drives in the 1st and 2nd half, bama has a shot. I don't have that much confidence on Hurts' ability to do that, but it is possible.

Way too many 3 and outs.

Bama is going to lose by at least 10 points.

Uhh, have you been watching Bama at all this year? Against ranked teams since Clemson (and including), his completion percentage is bad and third down conversions are atrocious.

He feasts on bad defenses as a good QB should, but against good defenses, he defaults to what he knows - running the ball - and Bama looks like shite on offense as a result.

Uhhh, a circle fits in a square pretty easily when it's smaller.

He's lost 2 games as a true sophomore. He's not exactly incapable.

So take away the middle of the field against Hurts?

Yep, and take away quick throws for Bryant.

QBs are going to struggle in this one, though I expect to see some new stuff from both teams.

May not be worth much, but remember what happened the last time Hurts touched the ball against Clemson last year. The moment definitely won't be too big for him.

All those back to back 3-and-outs in the 3rd quarter by Jalen & pals killed the defense by allowing Clemson to run 99 offensive plays.

If Bama could have gotten 3 3rd qtr first downs, they would have won.

Clemson's defense is considered better than last year's, right?

Their front 7 is so good.
