Hurts to Auburn. Refines his passing skills. Gumps who said "Gus can't develop a QB" smash furniture. Auburn wins Natty with Hurts. Saban retires. Gus leaves for new job, flying both middle fingers at boosters and negabarners in his final press conference. Auburn fans troll Bama as follows: "You'd have won two more National Championships if you had Gus on staff to develop Jalen". Rant implodes. Flowcharts are drawn. Stock market surges. Israel and Palestine sign peace accord.
And the sound of Tommy Tuberville cackling in the distance pierces the night.
Well done, sir. Golf clap.

Does Gus just suck at developing QB's who come in as Freshman?
Well yes, he does.

Miami would be interesting
Just out of curiosity, why do you think that, didnt they just hire Manny Diaz as their Head coach?

I don’t think he stays in the SEC. I sense somewhere out west.

does he have to sit a year or immediately eligible?

He is a good high quality Quarterback but he is does not have the arm talent to go to Oklahoma. He can mix in runs with dink and dunk passes but kids is not going to be able to fit passes in tight windows up and down the field, teams started figuring this out the year before. The fact that he is surrounded by a world class defense and all stars at the receiver and skill positions hides that fact.
without those calibers of weapons that can take his short underneath passes to the house or receivers that are so talented they run free frequently, where all he has to do is lob it up deep. With out all of that it will be obvious he does not have the arm talent to even compete for the job at Oklahoma. At Florida he have a better shot, he would be used more like a running back that throws just to keep other teams honest but again his arm nor accuracy doesn't scare anyone so people would crowd the box against him. He is a good college QB but not one that is a game changer, not at all, not enough arm talent.

Kyler Murray was 51% completion pct vs Alabama. Tua Deshaun Lawrence he is not.

Yeah, that's why Auburn fans are joking about this.
Grow a brain, man.

Is there a link to the NCAA Transfer Portal? Thanks.

Best of luck to the young man. Houston with their new HC might be a solid choice.

Easier path through the B1G than the SEC.
There is no easy path anywhere for Maryland
They have to play Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, and Michigan State with an average disadvantage of 3 stars to Ohio State and star to Michigan State

Agreed...i know that Murray had a bad game against the Tide but Hurts is not close to the level of a passer that Murray nor Baker Mayfield were. Oklahoma has had a stable of passers in the same vein of Mayfield and Murray is what I was saying. Therefore he would not be able to fit that system at all.
Tua, Lawrence, Watson, Lock, Fromm, Grier, the kid from Oregon , etc are all much more skilled at pushing the ball down the field and into tight windows across and all over the field. Hurts is not even in the same conversation as those and other elite quarterbacks.
I dont hate the kid i am just calling it what it is.
