Those opinions aren’t novel but they also apparently weren’t the conventional thinking of Bama’s coaching staff last season. Saban clearly thought Hurts was the better quarterback.

Not really.. There are a lot more factors that enter the decision to bench a 2 year starting QB(proven winner) than just who's better. Leadership, experience, the team's opinion, developed team chemistry are just a few considerations when making a move. Such a move could split a team and shatter morale.

Who is the biggest FA in CFB history? Actually a good question. I'm sure there are some great ones, but Cam Newton comes to mind for me.

Eh I don't think so. Cam newton wasn't 2010 cam when he was a "free agent".

At the time he was shopping around he only had limited mopup duty at UF and some good success in JUCO. I'm certain there have been people somewhere else at some point that had actually proven something for real before transferring.

Not that he fits with your post but it made me wonder what Masoli is doing these days

I agree to an extent. But I think he would've been a much bigger guy coming out of JUCO if he didn't have all the UF baggage. Because I remember him at Blinn JUCO just destroying everyone, and winning a JUCO NC. I grew up a gator fan so I knew he was, and a lot of people did because he was Tebows back up. I was honestly surprised it was really between Auburn and State for recruiting him out of JUCO. Thought a lot more teams would pursue him.

He would not be the biggest free agent in college football history. Apparently his dad has never heard of Cam Newton . Even Stidham and Grier may be better free agents .

He clearly thought the best chance of winning was with Hurts

Valid points actually. I feel as though he regressed last year. Idk how that happens.

I hope Hurts transfers to OSU and leads them to an NC while Tua completely implodes and Bama goes in the toilet.

Russell Wilson was a 3 year starter and 2-time All-ACC (1 First and 1 second team) at NC St before he transferred to Wisconsin

Troy Aikman left Oklahoma for UCLA after getting hurt and losing the starting job when Switzer switched back to the option and won a NC with it.

Jalen is good. Alabama will regret this.

Daboll wasn't trying to teach a kid to be a QB in my opinion.

Daboll wanted Tua on the field.

You could tell by the WR’s body language that they’re tired of Jalen missing them when they’re open.

If this is a team vote, Jalen gone.
That’s probably for the best if daddy Hurts and/or Jalen are going to be a cancer.

Good luck at being the first QB to transfer away from Alabama and actually win a starting job. I guess he has a better chance of doing that than everyone else so far.

Geez .....wrong.

Fans like you are so embarrassing
