Jalen Carter is going to have his football intro pretending to put on his seatbelt for takeoff.

The only piling on that needs to be done is on the Athens PD, who initially covered it up.

He's been charged (despite being a high-profile player) and he is not playing on the team.

What is there for us to pile on about?

Clueless.

He’s being charged. Doesn’t change your image.

Brandon Miller has been beaten up worse than Satan in a Pentecostal church.

I await equal treatment.

He’s going to face discipline unlike some people.

Not remotely comparable. Wanton homicide versus kids being stupid.

Because .....?

He allegedly did something....illegal

Vs if someone brought him the keys - that's not illegal.

He can take his seat right next to Miles

I would love to know what would have happened if the Carter incident happened in November.

And compare that to the Miller situation.

Would Carter even have been charged???

By ACC PD? The answer is a resounding YES and he would have not played another snap at UGA. ACC is on record for being blind to the UGA AD. The stories are legion and the ACC PD has always maintained that their job is to protect the citizens of ACC and to ensure the safety of the kids at UGA. They are NOTORIOUSLY vigilante about pressing charges against UGA athletes and students alike...they put up with a LOT on the streets of Athens but when the line is crossed there is little hesitation....eerybody goes to jail. It wasn't that way when Jim Donnan was coach but it has changed dramatically when Mark Richt became coach. There was some personal animosity between Richt, the ACC Cheif and the head of campus security. This was well known in Athens....I have seen signs of it firsthand when I was in business in Athens and in meetings where all parties were present. When Donnan was coach it is rumored that a certain QB and some cronies more or less ran Athens with the apporval of at least some of the police agencies in town and Richt found some lingering effects of that in the locker room when he arrived. That was the story anyhow...but it was obvious and still is that they do not brook any nonsense from UGA athletes in Athens.

They're already doing it you baby back bitch. Both situations are sad and this is how you respond, by pointing a finger at someone else and saying "see, he did something bad too"

And what about how Henry Ruggs was annihilated on this board?

I doubt the treatment will be the same.
