Why are you pretending to know what whoever called him in the 8th round, if they did, said to him and what Jake said back, and what he said back to Jake, and then what Jake said back to him, and then how Jake acted on how that telephone conversation went?

You know the same as everyone else: Jake Mangum's draft stock was low so he's coming back.
That's it. Period.
I think he's a phenomenal player and it's great for State that he is coming back, but let's not pretend it's anything other than low draft position and low $$$ that are bringing him back. To do so is asinine.

Which isn't much by then, under $175k slot values. So the reason he's coming back is simply because he wanted more money than any team was willing to give him, which wasn't much to start with. Not like he turned down millions, which he probably wouldnt have.
