Arnold isn’t much different than Thorne. That’s just reality. Recruiting services miss on kids all the time. Some are underrated some in Arnold’s case are overrated. These rankings are not infallible.

What exactly am I wrong about? Arnold isn’t a 5* talent. He’s proven it. I don’t care what he was rated out of high school. Once you play and play as bad as he has you are no longer a 5*. That’s just reality to anyone who isn’t some sycophant.

He had 3 TD passes vs SEC teams. The other 9 were vs Non-SEC

It wasn’t all Jackson fault … he was running for his life but he for sure lost two games all by himself ! Hope his brain isn’t cooked from being on the run for a whole college season…. He’s got arm talent his decision making is suspect !

Arnold is young and was thrown to the wolves on a struggling team plagued with injuries.
Even then, he did alright with 12 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
Whether or not he’s the next top NFL draft pick is irrelevant though. Our question is can he be better than Thorne? Because Thorne single handedly gave away three wins this season, so if he can avoid that, he’ll be a good pickup for us.
