Except it’s maybe the most hype a CFP has gotten yet. It’s the first time four completely legit teams are playing in it and it’s been talked about non stop since the end of the season.

I'm sure there isn't much hype for the playoffs. At UCF. You ain't never been there and likely never will so I would think y'all just pretty much ignore it.

I think the first playoff had a legit field. FSU ended up getting blown out by Oregon but no one expected that at the start. And you might say OSU snuck in the back door but then they ended up winning the whole damn thing. 2017 arguably had a stronger field than this one. Again, you can say Alabama snuck in that year, but they won the whole thing so that deflates the argument.
The other years there’s been at least one team who clearly didn’t belong from a talent standpoint. I agree the field this year is pretty strong, at least the second-strongest thus far.

Florida
It is also much less than the capacity of the following schools:

Missouri
Mississippi State
The best officer I ever had work for me was a UCF grad. You aren't even in his food chain.
