Cristobal looked good at Oregon too.

Oregon had a bit more in the cupboard than Miami did when Christobal got there. Like I said, no guarantees. Outside of Kirby, there are issues with anyone out there.

To go from Nick Saban to a guy who couldn't win the Pac-12 is an absolute dream as an Auburn fan.

It’s my dream that the Alabama boosters realize this and don’t hire him haha

If it's Lanning then Saban knows he will be great.

Saban recommended LSU hire Houston Nutt.

Saban was also instrumental in Michigan State hiring Bobby Williams after he left.

He’s already giving his best Kirby impression at Oregon.

I mean does Lanning at Alabama make you nervous objectively or no ?

Does Lanning at Alabama make you nervous ? What coach do you think Georgia fans objectively would be the most on edge for?

FWIW, Josh Pate is saying that "bama is rounding third & heading home with hiring its next head coach".

He is a good coach. But 2 and 3 lose seasons won’t fly at Bama.

Too young too unproven. Doesnt mean anything about his coaching ability, just means hes too young.

Deboer is a nice fit at a place like Washington, not sure how’d he’d mesh in the sec. Lanning more familiar with what it takes to win down here.
