They mean nothing now, and the teams who have to play them are punished, while those who don’t are rewarded.

Just do away with them.

I’m not against Bama getting in. It just shows we don’t need CCGs anymore.

The committee would have just put us 4th after the Auburn loss.

Georgia got in by winning the SECCG.

The non-conference champs have had to sweat it out for the #4 spot when it's happened.

Majority of the time winning your CCG goes in your favor. The real lesson here is take care of business against teams you should.

Or, be in a conference where you’re not playing a shitty Wisconsin team for the title.

And if you are playing a shitty Wisconsin team, don’t almost lose to them.

Agreed, it makes it hard on the teams that have to play it.

They are a quality win for the champs.

But at the end of the day, you have to stack up a season's worth of quality wins to get into the playoff. 1 game shouldn't trump a season's worth of activity.

OSU wasn't punished for a conference championship dipshit. Winning theirs was the only thing that even had them in the conversation in the first place.

They were punished for losing more games in the regular season, as they should be.

Luckily for Georgia Tech it isn't an issue that's going to affect you for many years to come.
