This is one of my least favorite trendy sayings " There's a reason.. blah blah blah"

There's something out there, but I don't understand it, so I sure can't explain the "reason". You'll have to come to your own conclusion, because I certainly can't come to mine!

Why didn’t the end start two years ago when Bobby Williams was removed from the on-field-staff and demoted to “assistant to the head coach”?

Maybe TWO YEARS ago Saban didn't know when his last day as Alabama's coach would be ? He seems to know now.

So nothing to do with getting his 10 years in the state pension and moving on to work for a former Alabama assistant in Mario Cristobal?

What about Dan Enos? Just doing an old Michigan State acquaintance a solid?

Atxgump, you can't lob em over the plate like that.

( What gave you away was "nattie" )

I'f you'd only said "presser" in your post it would have been the rare SEC Rant trifecta . ( nattie, seed, presser)

Assistants move on all the time. Bobby Williams has had three different stints with Saban.

Why do you give a shite one way or the other? Bobby Williams will be pulling a nice pension from the state of Alabama, and he gets to coach on the field again, pull a salary from a good program in Oregon.

It's a win-win for Bobby and no skin off Bama's nose.

That was the narrative then.

Just as the sands pour through the hour-glass, time is running out in Tuscaloosa.

I think the only way SEC gets rid of Saban is if some sexual assault cover up is exposed.
There has to be something out there!

Have you ever heard the expression "Little minds, little thoughts " ?

This is the first real chink in the Saban armor. Lifetime friend Bobby Williams bails, with a huge pay cut. If I was an opposing coach I'd point out this fact to recruits as proof that Saban is in the final year or two of his career! ( Its over !)
