I want to like Tito’s.
Not only is it ridiculously affordable, but the whole Texas thing and whatnot makes me want to support it.
But I can’t.
I find it to be very bitter.
But I know I’m in the minority; folks like it.
That said, I’d never pour it out.

Ginger beer.
Vodka.
Lime juice.
Add ice and shake.
Copper cup is preferred.
Best hot summer game drink ever.
Ever.

That’s my friend, the ol’ Moscow Mule.
I’m a fan.

I was always an ale or stout man. But got into fruit beers this summer.

I’ve never thought that. Grain vodka gives me a headache and a hangover. I used to drink nothing but potato vodkas but the good ones can get pricey. Tito’s hits all the marks in my book.

I have a liquor cabinet and a 48 wine rack. Mostly for display but if I am doing the entertainment for an event the grey goose and any expensive stuff including good wines get hidden. They can have Jim Bean or dewars scotch or a $15 wine but I’m not giving up the really expensive stuff.

Like I said—far more people would agree with your analysis than mine.
If you’re a vodka aficionado, there are some great organics out there that are worth a try (you probably know that), and I’m not a greenie.
I just enjoy a smooth sip.
Holler at me if you’re ever in Houston/College Station.
I’d love to buy you a few rounds.

Ice cold water in a glass, but it has been sitting there for a half hour, so the ice is all hollow and crunchy and I can taste a little iron in the water, because it is good well-water from my grandpa's house, and I'm 6 and drinking it in the porch swing.

I’ve tried a few organics-and they were good.
Will do. I have a cousin that’s a sophomore at A&M and I swore to her and her folks I’d visit before she graduated.

RatRod .... if you're mixing Woodford Reserve with coke you're doing it wrong.
Makers Mark with coke, oka, yea. But not Woodford Reserve for gosh sake.

Any wine connoisseurs? I like a good win on OCCASION but when I do I can’t drink that cheap garbage. I think the only Cabernet that’s inexpensive worth a crap is Woodbridge but that’s because it comes from Robert Mondavi. Go a step up and get white label Mondavi from Nappa Valley for about $32-$38 depending where you buy.
Jordan Nappa valley is also very good for a few bucks more. My favorite is Caymus Nappa valley but they are getting stupid with prices. Used to get a bottle for like $68. Louis Martini - Monterroso is also very good and cost slightly more than Caymus but I think Caymus is better. The two more expensive wines I have tried are Lewis Reserve nappa valley and Opus One. But you’re talking $200 a bottle PLUS, especially for Opus one. I don’t have either of the latter 2 in my rack because the two I had got used for special occasion and I be damned if I’m gonna spend that on wine.
Anyway, I bet there are some serious wine connoisseurs on here.
