To be honest I can’t think of a time I didn’t like a good win.

Just not at football games.

Jack and Pepsi until I convince myself that Vandy is about to open a can of whoopass. Yes, my liver gets quite the workout on fall Saturdays.

I’ll be starting this season off with Old Fashions. I do mine with an orange slice, Knob Creek, Sprite, and Angostura bitters. Sprite is easier than soda water and simple syrup. Serve in a Mason jar cause it’s football baw.

I miss my LSU neighbors. They were neighbors for 5 years and the drinks they came up with at times were so much fun. We were grill freaks and had a blast.

Any wine connoisseurs?

I used to have Hawkes shipped in from Sonoma quarterly, until the state cracked down on it.

Check out Frog’s Leap. They put out some great wines. Caymus is good, also. Louis Martini Napa Cab is good. BR Cohn puts out good Sonoma wines. Duckhorn and it’s lower priced brand Decoy are good.

I used to drink a lot more wine than I do now. I can’t do it as much anymore because it screws up my sleep.

Getting old sucks.

Haven’t tried several of those but you deff appear to appreciate a good wine.

ETA: I’m a nappa valley guy IF I’m gonna do wine but you are correct, while Nappa Valley generally produces the best wines, I agree there are some Sonoma wines that are very good indeed.

Customers of mine who owned liquor stores used to pay me in kind with good wine and whiskey. I’ve literally drank away a lot of my paychecks.

I know you will laugh because I like the good stuff but I swear I actually like Jim Beam better than Jack Daniels. That’s not to say I don’t drink Jack or keep it on hand but to me Jim Beam just taste better. I guess to each his own. I guess either way, once you’ve had several stiff drinks, you could care less amirite? Lol

Been on a Karbach trip lately. May cycle through the different ones throughout the season.

At the house, or a watch party, I'm drinking a stout or a dark beer. Prefer the stronger ones.
