What's the truth to rumors that there's conflict with one of his daughter's mingling with football players?

It doesn't take much for Auburn fans to lose patience. Gene Chizik was gone 2 years after winning a title. Not that his 4th and final season wasn't horrific, but you'd think he'd be given a Mulligan for winning a title.

Speak up. It's hard to hear you over the LSU crowd laughing.

The dude knows how to coach.
his QB may end up the highest drafted at his position this April

his team had a SOS in the upper 80s-low 90s

he still went 7-5

But these alleged offseason departures could be foreshadowing the worst.

Are those his fault really? I know we like to say, everything is the HC's fault but why throw away or crap on a good coach when it's not needed? I think it will take some time but I believe he's got Auburn going in the right direction.

Same scenario as the basketball team. Auburn will have to take a chance on a coach that’s great but other teams aren’t willing to risk their reputation on. Worked perfect for them in basketball!

Nobody really knows. Nobody here at least. I'd like to be able to put a positive spin on it, but to have a respected DC leave for a pay cut, fire one OC and then lose his replacement before he ever coaches a game is not a good reflection on Harsin.

Freeze or Kiffen both kind of scare me if they were HC at the barn.

Yeah but probably it's just better jobs opened up that he didn't count on.

I'd like to think that's the case, but who really knows.

My question is, does every Auburn head coach go through some kind of indoc process where they are taught to coach their best game against Alabama?
and their worst against UGA?

Even when Auburn has the superior team we manage to win, worst-case scenario keep it respectable.

Totally don't see how people think Harsin is a failure at Auburn.

6-7 is no bueno and Gus would have done better. The recruiting is bottom half of the league.

I was referring to the Auburn fan base, not the athletic department. You know as well as I do there were "Fire Gus" threads all over this forum years before he was gone. That's what I'm talking about.

And now the same thing is happening with Harsin already.

We should've let his happy arse walk off to Arkansas in 2017 (if they really wanted him and it wasn't just Sexton smoke.)

It's a bit premature on Harsin, but the offseason has been eventful in a bad way so far.

Nope. It’s all on him too. Auburn made a terrible decision to hire Harsin. The sooner he is gone, the better.

Yes he does. He just scored a shite load of brownie points by re-signing Pearl.
