Everyone should stop dumping on Harsin and Brian Kelly, they are exactly the right coaches for AU and LSU. You should give them lifetime contracts.

Don't lump poor Brian Kelly in with Harsin. At least he's trying.

To be seen. He will coach this year. He is the only iffy coach Auburn has right now. All the others are working out well so far. Greene made two excellent hires last year separate from Harsin. Really strange situation. New Prez will be announced in February and this one is pro athletics. Should be a good change going forward.

In reply.... Pres Gogue is pro athletics as well.

And you know for a fact Harsin is setting on his arse doing nothing, right?

Harsin has been busy conducting "Audits" to the entire football staff and program.

Can they afford to fire him?

Aw Leto, it will eventually get better and it will not take as long and be as bumpy as it has been for Tennessee. But it could get worse before it gets better, if you have to go thru yet another coaching change.

Green did a masterful job of transitioning Auburn to a basketball school.

No only some who don't understand just how bad of a situation that Harsin inherited. The program needed a culture change from the softness and lack of desire to compete at the highest level possible

Auburn next year will likely be coached entirely of former Boise State coaches as all the SEC guys like Derek Mason etc got the hell out of dodge. That pretty much tells you all you need to know. He will be lucky to finish out the season
