It doesn't take much for Auburn fans to lose patience. Gene Chizik was gone 2 years after winning a title. Not that his 4th and final season wasn't horrific, but you'd think he'd be given a Mulligan for winning a title.

This post makes zero sense… Auburn HCs since 1999: Tubs - Chizik - Gus - now Harsin (still here) and only 8 HCs since 1950 or so.

What I didn't get why the heck did Auburn fired Gus for someone like Harsin. I would understand if Auburn would have done what LSU did. Hired someone like Brian Kelly.

Mmmm, maybe Kiffen?, Now that might be a solid hire for the barn. Innovative offense, good recruiter, just would need to make outstanding hires on his staff and the barn might be back in the game.

The guy has coached one season with a Gus roster. He’s going to get a few years to turn it around.
