On the bright side.... we don't have to go to Missouri for another 12 years!

We've never been to Missouri. We might not go for another 10 years.

Last time I checked they represent the Big 10 and ACC Conferences respectively.

Indeed they do but they're not major teams. C'mon no SEC school should be scheduling those two except as a substitute over the even lower level cupcake game like Austin Peay.

So I'm getting the impression that overall one side of the conference tends to schedule higher quality opponents consistently than the other side.

In a way of words. It's all due to 4 SEC & 4 ACC schools are in-state rivals. Similar to TN/Vandy & Aub./Ala.. But, as luck would have it, all 4 rivalries are in the East.

We had Arkansas in a long term series but then it became a conference game. Yes, 2012 thru 2014 OOC schedule has been a shite show but are people dense given how far out scheduling occurs? We're finally getting back on track.

2015 - Arizona State (@ Houston Reliant)
2016 - UCLA
2017 - @ UCLA
2018 - @ Oregon
2019 - Oregon

I think it is stupid that it will take many years to rotate through the other division.

Missouri, will this open up playing Kansas every year again? They'd be an easy "major conference" opponent.

Time for McGarity to finalize the ND series and call FSU back about the first college game in the new dome

Arkansas was also effected by the move.

Instead of another FCS team or low major we scheduled:

2012 Rutgers
2013 @Rutgers
2014 @Texas Tech
2015 Texas Tech
2016 TCU
2017 @TCU
2018 Michigan
2019 @ Michigan
2020 TBD
2021 Texas

Stop blaming the move for your want of a weak OOC schedule.

The only reason it might be "broken" is because there's too many teams.

Calling it one conference and then only playing every member once every 6 years and and at each venue once every 12 is broken.

Not going to 9 games at the very least is just insanity.

Well somebody should have thought about that before expanding to 14 teams in the most half assed ill prepared way possible.
