And the first realistic threat to tStreak won't come until 10/17 @ Florida.

Maybe not.

A road game at Florida could be challenging.

You might want to wait and see what they look like before you make statements like that. I know you guys are riding high and rightfully so, but this is a new season and a lot has changed in the LSU camp.

I've seen QB Brennan, WRs Marshall/McMath, RBs Curry/Emery/Price, the entire OL except the C, the DTs Logan/Ika, LBs Clarke/Baskerville, DBs Stingley, Flott, Stevens, Harris all play and I am happy with all of them.

The remaining:

Center: Shanahan (Grad Transfer) looks the part, think he will be great.
TE: Arik Gilbert will be an All American. This year.
DE: This is the one spot I feel is a genuine question mark, but Coach knows dline and I feel comfortable with his guys.
LB: Cox (Grad Transfer) might be an All-American
CB: Ricks is a true freshman, but was the No 1 rated CB recruit in the nation.

Honestly, depth is a concern, but our starters will be great. If healthy, the only games that concern me are Florida, Auburn, Bama. We win the rest by 2 scores or more.

Depth is a very big one my friend. This is the SEC, and an all SEC schedule this year. You need depth to get those wins.

How unfulfilling is your life when LSU isn’t good at football?

You can really tell that this was LSU's first undefeated season. Insecure from backdooring your way into the BCS and split with the real national champion.

Depth is going to be an issue for sure. With pretty much the whole team already having covid and not having to be tested for 90 days, that might end up helping us this year.

Overall this is the last year to have depth problems. Our starting 22 are on bama's level, but our depth is not as good as of now. Thats why i think we go 8-2 if its a straight up season.

this isnt a straight up season though, we might end up playing a depleted team here and there that might help us. or we might get destroyed by contact tracing and get our shite pushed in by auburn, unfortunately no one knows shite right now lol.

gonna be weird but interesting for sure.

LSU wasn't the team that backdoored in 2003, but I can't expect a butthurt Aubie to know that so you get a pass.

It wasn't. It was our first 15 win undefeated season.

In 2003, no matter what poll you choose, we didn't back in. We were the ONLY unanimous choice to play in the title game.
