Texas and OU will not sniff a playoff in the SEC, and they know it. Don't be surprised if they back out altogether over the next year or so.

y’all couldn’t pull off winning a DIVISION since the nineties in this horrible conference you skiddaddled from and the sec……. a division.

t.u. and OU are the two biggest losers in Div I and always overhyped in the media. Yet, they always fail and the cycle begins again.

Moving to the SEC? The media love will end after the first two SEC seasons resulting in beat downs for their programs.

Both are jokes and they will look back at the Big 12 with tears rolling down their faces. I laugh. What a stupid move they made to leave the Big 12.

naw, I'm wishing that something happens before they are in that sends them elsewhere.

A&M has exactly one national championship in a big 3 sport, 82 fricking years ago.

I am happy to see it, but I don't feel its a really good comparison as in most cases SEC teams at least play half of the same teams, OU and Texas do not and really shouldn't be considered part of the conference for lists such as this until we actually do play SEC conference games its just apples and oranges.

We need this information to analyze the math going forward.

So far is...

Come on painsman, how many of those near-death experiences that Oklahoma has already had this season with Rattler at the controls would have been losses in the SEC?

A&M fans saying the OU sucks balls is hilarious. Your program has been irrelevant FOREVER.

FOREVER.

I think the teams voting 14-0 in favor (even the aggies voted near unanimously) and the fact that it will be 2025 at the latest is pretty telling that they're eventually joining the SEC. It's purely a money grab first, and everything else coming second.

Quite ironic coming from an aggie fan, but I digress. There are also sports beyond football that both teams should be able to contend in immediately.

And finished in the top 4 exactly once in between then and now in all big 3 sports combined (so once in 246 total seasons). And they didn't even compete in that respective sport's semifinals either

I have a feeling that sometime between now and when they are supposed to join, someone from their administrations will put the bong down long enough to realize that they are giving up their easy path to the playoffs and call the whole thing off.

OU has top 3 SEC talent currently from the terrible big 12. Now it’s on track to be number 1. Saban has very few years left. Riley is primed to dominate this conference, and Caleb Williams is about to Lead the way for him. You can just taste the fear here.
