Unfortunately Kentucky is also Bengals and Reds country, which means we have to share our pro fan base with this Buckeye trash. They're the worst.

quote:you’re right. I forget just how bad Miami was before the 80s.
LSU is 17th in all time win totals with 6 Ivy League or FCS/DII schools ahead of them, so really it’s 11th. Miami is ranked tied for 69th (nice) with a bunch of non FBS schools ahead of them. If LSU is new money, Miami is absolutely, unequivocally, entirely new money.

Florida and Georgia has won as many as your entire conference this century.

and you forgot how consistently good LSU was before 1980. and even the 80s we had good years and overall were decent. you are selling LSU historical success short for sure.
even if you look at the old snapshot of cfb warehouse from 2017, we were #9 already. they had the best rankings too.
LINK
since then, we added an sec ship, a NC and another sec west ship.
we had undeafeated seasons in 1896, 1908(could legit claim NC), 1958 and 2019.
we were really good in the late 50s and the 60s, decent in the 70s, up and down in the 80s and even had 2 realyl godo years in the 90s. since 2000, been dominant.
could legit claim 5 NCs, only claim 4 though.
4th in sec championships.

In your estimation, what's the top basketball school if not UCLA?
It has to be UCLA, Kentucky, or UNC.
Duke, Kansas, Indiana a step below.

you are selling LSU historical success short for sure.

In 118 years of playing football, The Ohio State has 1 post-season win against the SEC.

There are sports other than football that SEC schools do well in. No coattails necessary.
But I can see how being a one sport school would cloud your judgement. Even though you get owned when you leave your little conference.

LSU and Georgia?
I was thinking of Arkansas, Florida, and South Carolina fans. I know Florida had some good teams in the 90's and 00s but that was when the league was down and they've been nothing but garbage since yet run that mouth like they are still a big-time program.
LSU and Georgia swim in mediocrity, popping up to win a title now and then. NO real tradition.

Arkansas has more national titles than any other school in the SEC. Arkansas has more NCAA titles than OSU..
Plus, obviously we're a big deal because BlowSU had to cheat so bad they fired their coach to have a shot against us.

UCLA soon to be in the B1G is the top program of all time followed by North Carolina which is a close 2nd. I would place Duke 3rd since they have dominated modern college basketball.
Indiana, Ohio State, and Michigan would be top 10 with a case made for Michigan State and Purdue.

I think all the SEC schools have at least 1 Natty
What SEC has no Natty's?
What SEC has no Natty's?

Obviously you have never followed college basketball and know nothing about it.
I'd rank them as follows:
UCLA
Kentucky
North Carolina
Duke
Uconn
Indiana
Kansas
Villanova
Michigan State
Louisville.
Ohio State has 1 title and 10 final fours.. Every team above them has at least 2 titles. Michigan has 1 title and 6 final fours.. the same as Arkansas.

I have no issue with your belief of who is top 10 even if it is wrong.
But how can you put Kentucky ahead of Duke and North Carolina? Sure they were better when old racist Adolph was around but the 2 ACC schools own them since.

Absolutely the case with Ohio State and Michigan who historically sit at the top of the Big Ten.
Neither of these Big 2 are over .500 in bowl games.
Nonsense, when you play in a NY6 bowl or playoff every season then you are bound to be 500 or below.

You should really be above 500 with your conference's built in advantage though.

Not really. When you play the best every bowl season then you being near 500 is an accomplishment.
