They fell off in all sports, not just baseball.

Almost like saying UCLA is the top basketball program of all time.
there’s people that would definitely say that. Lsu is the baseball version of duke. Anyone born from 1975 to now thinks your a blue blood but the old heads know better

LSU has a top 7-10 football program of all time historically lsu is behind bama, usc, Ohio state, Michigan, Texas, Nebraska, notre dame, and Miami for sure, although they are better than all currently except bama and on par with Ohio state today. I’d put lsu in the same category as Florida state and Florida. Late to the party but now that they’re established seem to be able to compete every year. Id say historically they’re a 8-15 all time program but I could see 7-10 as well.

Ohio State doesn't ride the coattails of anyone 'cuz nobody else in the Big 10 ever does anything. Rest assured, though, should someone else do something the Suckeyes will be right there taggin' right along!

And he doesn't want to do basketball either.

Only two Big 10 schools have won a National Championship in CBB since 1989 (Michigan 1989, Michigan State 2000). Kentucky, Arkansas, and Florida together have had 6 in that same span.

Looking at Omaha schedule, I don't see a osu team entered. Surely that's a mistake?

Nice break in the action from all the Vols fans claiming their first CWS title before the tourney has even kicked off.

lol. 1 and 2 are very solid in Texas and So Cal.

There is a debate for CWS trips/titles vs just titles, but still

Was gonna ask if you were born yesterday, but then you went with Texas at #1 so you’re just an idiot.

Only baseball programs that can stake a claim next to LSU are USC(w - obviously) & Stanford.

Skip is a legend & college baseball wouldn’t be where it is today without him.

Despite the fact LSU literally ran themselves out of their last shot at a title in 2017, they’ve pretty much consistently lived in the upper echelons of college baseball for well over 50 years now.

Gtfo.

So what you're saying is that Ohio St feasts on an easy conference schedule but loses most of the big games in the post season to good teams from tougher conferences. Got it =)

LSU is 17th in all time win totals with 6 Ivy League or FCS/DII schools ahead of them, so really it’s 11th. Miami is ranked tied for 69th (nice) with a bunch of non FBS schools ahead of them.

If LSU is new money, Miami is absolutely, unequivocally, entirely new money.

Gacmecock laughing at LSU being called a top 3 baseball program is one of the funniest unironically posted things I’ve ever seen on this board.

In Football for the last 17 seasons the SEC has won 13 National Champions with 5 different programs. Only 3 non SEC Programs have won in that same period.

Absolutely the case with Ohio State and Michigan who historically sit at the top of the Big Ten.

Neither of these Big 2 are over .500 in bowl games.
