Its the #1 rushing defense against the 11th ranked rushing attack for fricks sake.

I'd gladly surrender our last 4 hanger on, carpetbagging members to get back to a better revolving schedule.
And just wait - if you don't like missing Florida on the schedule... Next year, we don't play Alabama. And we've done so consecutively since 1963.
It will be the first time we haven't played them in literally 64 fricking years. But HEEEEEY!! GUYS WE GOT TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA IN THE SEC! yaay.

We've played Florida 70 of last 73 years, since 1953. Took 3 years off around 1970.

Could not agree more on this. Another case of incompetency by the SEC. Even fans of other teams agree that we should be on Florida's schedule every year.

Has always been one of my favorite games. Growing up in the 90's Florida was the big bad wolf. Kicked the dogshit out of us routinely. I will never forget the 1997 game where they came into Tiger Stadium ranked #1 and got knocked off.
A damn shame that that game was considered expendable for the new scheduling.

agreed. none of them fit at all. tx and tx a&m should just form their own 2 team conference. but due to all of this, its done nothing but make me miss games like 2 weekends ago with aub/uf, now we miss UF this year, and bama next year. so the sec has a bigger footprint in the media market? that's exactly why i became a college football fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just checked the schedules. Geez. That really sucks.
We do get a home/home with Ohio State though. That's pretty cool.

LSU should play
Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss and Arkansas every year.
I’m okay with losing the cow bells.
Between Florida and Auburn there’s been some crazy outcomes. Piggies became our Thanksgiving friends. Ole Miss seems to becoming a rivalry game again.
Bama is has and will be our measuring stick.
We lost the piggies for the Aggies and dinner conversation became awkward and off putting.
The only good thing Texas did was take their odd little brother back for a Thanksgiving Weird Off.
