Bama got Leatherwood instead of Wilson.

In 2017 during the NCG, Leatherwood came in against UGA after an injury and dominated (better than the starter).

And even better news for Bama, Leatherwood is returning for his senior season.

I'd say that Bama didn't blink after Wilson decommitted and did as good if not better.

Gotta wait to see how it plays out, so far Wilson is already in the Clubhouse uninjured and the 29th overall pick in the NFL draft

Leatherwood is still on the back 9 trying to catch Wilson, is Leatherwood a sure fire 1st round draft choice?

For Wilson it worked out fine, a 20 year RS Soph that gets drafted in the first round, he'll hit free agency at age 25 and then be able to hit another big contract at age 30, barring injury Wilson has played everything absolutely perfect, very few non QBs have the chance to hit 2 big Free Agent Contracts in the NFL, Wilson has that chance barring injury

For Leatherwood, everything is still a mystery

Leatherwood is projected to go in the top15 picks...

Do you ever say anything intelligent?

Agreed. Bama got the same if not better (Wilson redshirted 2017 while Leatherwood was key in the NCG) production from Leatherwood already vs Wilson. Throw in another season for Bama, and it wont be close as far as benefit from that class.

As for UGA, we might be fine at tackle this season. But I highly doubt we are as good as Leatherwood at Tackle.

I mean this thread had a gold mine in the Jim Harbaugh story and it's glossed over.

Didn't want to quote the whole post, but this is one of the best I've seen on here in a while. Great points

Football is over

Thanks to the players supporting the corrupt democrat party and especially Saban and u of Ala

Thus will not be forgotten from the south and will keep spreading against u of ala and Saban

Alabama not firing Saban was suicide

Players projected to go Top15 fall to the 2nd and even 3rd round, we don't know what the future holds, is he the #1 LT in this class, will he get injured this season, will he test poorly at the combine and get moved to RT, there are a myriad of things that can happen between now and the draft

My point wasn't to project where Leatherwood would be drafted, my point was that if you ask Wilson and his Agent it worked out better than perfect for him regardless of what Leatherwood does with his career

There are some really dumb schticks on this forum but yours is one of the worst.

I've read since Saban was hired that, politically, he is probably more liberal than conservative and probably votes Democrat. The fact he's the best recruiter in the nation seems to indicate it hasn't hurt him. In fact, it probably helps more than hurts because...and this one may blow your mind... but the majority of players he recruits come from families that are also more liberal than conservative and also vote Democrat.

Shut down his Michigan recruitment because Harbaugh wore cleats in his house and refused to take them off

Well it ruined the rug.
