They beat USCe at home for an 11 a.m. start. Maybe I'm still suffering from the wounds of last year, but I'm not overly confident in this game.
I would guess UT caught USCe looking ahead to Mizzou, but who knows...either way I am not overly confident at this point either.

UT is probably better than their record, they've played the hardest schedule in the country. If they played a typical schedule they'd have another couple of wins probably.

The Mizzou game was all strategy. UT shows how horrible they are in the defensive backfield. Boom, the Berry twins commit. Mission accomplished. Prospects don't have any doubt they will be able to compete to start on day 1. Well played, Butch...

If it was in Auburn, I wouldn't worry, UT is a steaming pile of hot garbage on the road this year. They've been competitive at home though.

They're definitely more competitive that I had thought, so kudos to Butch so far. He's done a nice job.

Yes, but they're still nowhere good enough to keep the final under a 14 point difference.
Relax, y'all got this.

We don't match up well with Auburn at all. I do think playing at home will keep us competitive but I'd still pick Auburn to win by 10+

I don't think we are better than our record shows against the competition we've played. I.E. At Oregon, at FL, at Bama, at Mizz, UGA, & USC.
However, I do believe if we played a lot of other SEC schedules we'd have several more wins.
It doesn't matter, we play who we play and we've lost, badly.
Auburn shouldn't have any issue this week with us, I'm hoping for a win over Vandy to go bowling for the first time in 3 years...

Maybe, but they are still pretty darn bad.

No. They had a good two-game stretch against UGA and South Carolina, but Alabama brought them back down to earth.
Auburn should beat them by double digits.

Mizzou had over 330 rushing yards Saturday... we I think we call all agree Auburn has a better overall rushing attack that Mizzou.

I think we can all agree Auburn loses twice in November

TN just doesn't have the horses to be very good right now, especially with our schedule. The lack of speed and athleticism is painfully obvious. That's why you saw Patton and Cooper rip off 60 yd TD's from screen passes. I'm surprised Byrd didn't have a field day for SCar.
All UT fans are hanging their hope on the incoming recruiting class. I didn't think it was possible to recruit to UT as bad as Doolz did.

Hard to say, but I don't think UT springs the upset this week in any case.

6 teams ranked #11 or better, 5 of them in a row. It's been the most brutal stretch of games I've ever followed. Mizz really surprised me too. The stunting/shifting and blitz packages they brought were really good, and straight up dominated the LOS.
Neylands getting its swagger back and has been a really tough place to play at this season, that being said we don't have the horses at DLine and LB to limit your run. Mobile QBs have really hurt this D and I don't expect that to change saturday either

Butch Jones is the best coach in SEC history that has only won 1 SEC game. FACT!

Just go ahead and throw the DB's in there too, except Sutton. He'll play on Sunday.
Coleman is a nightmare.
Nickel is being played by 2 walk ons (Toney and Swafford).
McNeil and Randolph have been meh since WKU.

If he can get one more SEC win, he will match Saban in his first year at Bama.
