Excellent rebuke of the fact Hunter has hired the most tenured assistant in the sports he can get away with it.

In the sports he can't get away with that, he's fell to at best fifth on his candidate list. That was in women's basketball.

You somehow still underestimate Hunter's ability to frick up a coaching hire.

Bobby worked for free for years, he wants to be here, Hunter believers one or both of Hobbs and Thompson would stay on to help his transition to the dugout from third base.

Arkansas hired Ryan Silverfield as head football coach. Is there any doubt Yurachek will screw this up? Y’all want Earley?

It doesn't matter who the fans want, only has once when one fan who happened to be one of the richest men in the world wanted Cal and he had to personally put up all the money to make it happen.

Hog fans shouldn't talk shite about Wernes, Hobbs, or Thompson. It will be really awkward when you have the change face and support him as head coach.

Probably some 35 year old that is moving up the ranks.

Oh, thought you had some insider scoop the way you stated that. But I think Morris was close to 50 when hired to Arky. Not 35 but I could be wrong. NTL, DVH needs to seriously assess his next step.

Yes Morris was about 50 when he was hired.

They will probably hire some 35 year old with barely any head coaching experience after being turned down so many times.

Dave needs to retire but the problem is they will get someone much worse.

So it is quite the predicament.

Arkansas should try to take Missouri baseball coach. We would like to give Arkansas a great coach.

I would like to think that it would be easy to find a great coach to take over the reins.

Facilities, Fan Support, Money.. it's all there.

Bobby Wernes is the easy choice for Cuckachek and Dave.

Played and groomed under DVH's tenure and also cheap.

We need DVH to outlast Hunter at Arkansas or Hunter will screw up the hire unless Tyson steps in to save him again.

I wouldn’t hate DVH as AD TBH. He’s proven he can hire good assistants and is the type of person we need as AD

DVH had better teams than Norm.

He has doubled the amount of CWS appearances.

What is so frustrating with DVH is he been here 24 seasons and only has made the CWS finals once.

He does very well in the regular season but his post season history is lacking considering how long he has been at Arkansas.

A tremendous coach would have won the game played after the dropped foul ball.

An elite coach would have rallied his team to win after the could ball.

DVH stands on the second step, mouth half open, looking around in a constant state of confusion.

The same could be said about DaleDenton as a fan....

What has he done the DVH hasn't done? Or maybe I should ask what has he done that has exceeded what DVH has done?
