What has he done the DVH hasn't done? Or maybe I should ask what has he done that has exceeded what DVH has done?
Nothing. But he has shown that he's a good HC in what he's done at Georgia, is a homegrown Arkansas guy, and has shown interest in the Arkansas job. It's not about whether he's done anything more than DVH. It's more about Dave being in the twilight of his career and Wes being a prominent up and comer that could be our next long term HC and build on what Dave has built.

is a homegrown Arkansas guy,

Arkansas is making a huge mistake by not going after Missouri baseball coach. Like Arkansas fans said money, fans support, and history. Missouri has not spend much money to get top players and not have any real history in baseball. Imagine he will be getting bigger NIL budget than Missouri.

Wernes has the most seniority on staff.
This is why nobody believes you about Wernes. Hobbs and Thompson have been there longer than him.
Jesus.

I'm not really looking at it as a qualifier. I think his true qualifications speak for themselves. Being homegrown is not a qualifier, but it can be a good addition if it's the right person. Or, as you stated, can be a detriment if it's the wrong person. When Dave leaves, I wouldn't mind finding out though. Could definitely do worse.

OK so it will either be Hobbs or Thompson.

Ole Miss fans were putting a lot of heat on Bianco for his lack of CWS appearances.
Either he went all the way or get fired. They probably were going to fire him if didn't win a title that year.
That won't happen to DVH and he will retire when he decides to and thus more years of no titles.
