ITs a factor for sure. I heard their football players have to take “sensitivity classes.

I wonder how much it pisses of other SEC fans that Nick Saban voted for Sleepy Joe and still beat the brakes off them in 2020?

It is almost like associating one political leaning to virility is just propaganda to make partisans feel better about themselves. “I voted for the tough guys therefore I’m not a whiny puss baby and I’m just generally winning at life,” says man working a dead-end job where his boss is half his age.

I agree with the OP. If you notice, the DAWGS can't ever get over the hump, and this is my squad I'm talking about. There's alot of that twisted influence on these football players. I do believe that it affects them in a way. So yes, Austin is too liberal to win.

I would vote Nick Saban for President, and if you think he is some extreme leftist you are delusional. He is much more in the Michael Jordan “Republicans by shoes too” camp

Missouri doesn’t belong in the equation due to one key data point:

That's your stupid thought and not related to the question.
Concerning Missouri:
From 2015 Sports Illustrated, "On Saturday, Missouri's football team said it would boycott all football-related activities until school system president Tim Wolfe resigned or was fired. Two days later, Wolfe stepped down."
A football program can bring administrators to their knees if they want to. Even for liberal causes.

The simple answer is if you get a dominant football coach and assistants all the wimpy liberal and progressive crap melts away...The players either get tough or don't play...

Because they tried to back out of an apparel deal with Nike so Nike punished them by steering recruits to other schools. In USC’s case it most certainly wasn’t about politics.

Nick Saban is a good friend with moderate liberal Joe Manchin. Assuming that is indicative of his political leanings - considering he did an ad for him - does that mean GMac is right and Saban is underachieving due to soft liberalism?!

Good. Liberals are reptilians and conservatives are troglodytes.

Liberalism and sports do not mix.
Just look at the Olympics now.
All the left is praising a girl gymnast who couldn't handle the competition and quit.

The crazies don't dictate the athletic budget.

Our problem has been either poor coaching hires or something in the water that turns respected coaches into retards. I thought Charlie Strong would at least be an okay coach. Most everyone thought Tom Herman was the best young coach available at the time.

Now I'm hoping Sark is going to be a great redemption story.
