Bruh that game was played not that long ago and you lost. You’d lose again too.

Yes the SEC's dominance is over. The B1G has caught up with them in both elite teams and depth. As I said it would ever since I first posted here. And it is only going to get stronger.

You’re full o shite. Your elite teams are tOSUck and M… and M has beaten tOSUck 3 years running. M won it all last season, but will be lucky to hold off O from unseating them from the 12.

I hope Bama plays Ohio St in the CFP this year… I want to laugh at the dumbasses who left Tuscaloosa for that rust belt shite hole when UA runs them through.

On what planet are Florida or A&M in the top 5-8? A&M is at best #9-10. Florida is clearly in the bottom 4.

but what really separated the conference in the 2000's and 2010's was that our #5-8 teams could consistently beat your ranked #2-4 teams

To be fair, A&M wasn't an SEC team then. They're hurting the conference.

Oh, you mean when the best team in the country was stuck outside the playoff after an unnecessary conference championship game?

It's funny, UGA wasn't mentioned much last year, it was all FSU bullshite when the top 4 were chosen. This season? I sure am hearing a lot of, "the best team wasn't in the playoff last season" from the same fricking media.

The SEC is still the strongest conference.
However, 10-15 years ago we had teams losing 2-3 games a year that would have gone undefeated in another conf.
The conference is not as dominant as it used to be…. I think it’s been this way since at least 2020.

That said, don’t judge the whole conference based on Fl and ATM.

A 12 team playoff is about to kick SEC dominance into overdrive. It won't be an all-SEC final four every year but it will be common enough.

You only won on a missed FG. You guys act like it was a beatdown.

They're stuck in the past. Most of them sit in their trailers listening to Glory Days as they chant SEC SEC SEC.

This is exactly my point. Best and total domination are two different things. The SEC will always be the best with our geographic advantage and cultural obsession with the sport. But the “SEC, SEC” chants of 15 years ago came from our underrated teams consistently upsetting non conference media darlings on big stages. That isn’t happening anymore with consistency. The narrative we have preached about the grind of an SEC schedule and how you can’t have an off night and beat our middle of the pack in this league is close to false now. If anything, Vegas and the media are now overrating our mid-tier teams.

Until the SEC stops winning it all on a regular basis, we have the past to reference as proof of dominance.

It’s ok buttercup.

Not based on results and recruiting.

There is only one B1G program with a roster that would be competitive with the elite SEC schools this year (Ohio State) based on what I saw this weekend.

Michigan lost the heart of their roster, their QB and their coach.

PSU, Oregon and USC are all well behind UGA, Bama, Texas and even Ole Miss and Missouri as we saw in bowl games last year.

Actually with Harbaugh gone you better hope Oregon finds a QB or else it’s going to be Ohio State and the 17 dwarfs.

Teams like Miami or ND didn't walk into big SEC stadiums and win, not to mention whip arse.

A&M and Florida are not top 8 SEC teams:

Bama, UGA, Texas, LSU, OU, OM, Mizzou, TN.

No. I'd put our top 7 against any other conference's top 7 all day every day.

Agree. But that’s not the same as dominance.

Your "elite" team scored a whopping 3 points against Missouri in the Cotton Bowl while racking up an incredible 204 total yards on offense.

But we were without muh Marvin Harrison and a QB we ran off...
