Is the Big 12 a major conference anymore?

Just went 0-3 vs the Sunbelt.
Kansas lost to Coastal Carolina the 2nd year in a row.
Iowa State and Matt Campbell are fakes, losing to Louisiana after being ranked 23rd.
I don't think they should let Oklahoma into the playoff anymore for beating down a shitty conference.

More of a major conference than the PAC 12

nope. They never were even with Aggots and Missouri. chOklahoma should have never been an any BCS games post 2000 really. Real teams missed out because of that joke of a conference.

It really is the SEC, Big Ten and the chicken little conferences right now. Poor P12 cant even get someone nationally relevant like the B12 and ACC does at least

I'd say the Big 12 is in a great position to expand their footprint, and quality of conference, in the short term.
The Pac-12 has just shot itself in the ... we'll politely say foot. But it wasn't the foot. And personally, I believe the Big 10 hasn't done much better. There will be teams trying to get back into the Big 12. I certainly see Colorado as possible, and probably Nebraska. Right about now, Nebraska is looking up and asking themselves "What in the Hell have we done ?". It'll only get worse when they miss a couple games in this abbreviated season - no way they'll get through the entire nine weeks without five concurrent active cases and forfeiting a game or two.
And as long as they play, the Big 12 will retain everybody they have now. They won't get Missouri or A&M back. They should - should - be able to recruit better into the West Coast and the western part of the Big 10.
I think, in two years, we'll be talking about how the SEC and ACC cemented themselves as the top two conferences, and how the Big 12 used the opening to slide into the three spot, as the Big 10 declines and the PAC 12 dies.

If Mizzou was still in the Big 12, they’d be 0-4 to the Sun Belt.

I mean, you're Mizzou. You should know how much better the Big 12 South is than the Big 12 North.

The Big 12 of 2010 was a very different conference than that of today
OU wasn’t gonna lose 63-28 to anybody back then.

All I know is Oklahoma goes 11-1 every year with a Big 12 schedule and gets curb stomped in the playoff like clock work

On the contrary.
In 2010, Oklahoma lost two games. Want to guess to who?
Oklahoma-27
Missouri-36
Oklahoma-19
Texas A&M-33
Ironical, huh?
IN 2009 Texas tech beat them 41-13

Yes they are.
Part of the Big 3
SEC
ACC
Big 12
Pac 12 is history POS
Big 10 is trying to save themselves from becoming as irrelevant as the pac 12

All other "Power 5" conferences should have a playoff, winner faces the SEC Champ for the CFP Championship. Only fair

Their style of play sucks. They need to change. Defense needs to be a priority

It’s true
You went to a division you knew was sucky enough to win
And you won it twice

And you won it twice

Thank you for showing up when I called for you.
And for making yourself look even worse than usual.
Exactly what I was going for with this thread.
