Serious Answer: You better hope Sun Belt Billy has a pulse in Gainesville this season or your dear Lane will be taking his train on the road again...
And Ole Miss will be, well... back to Ole Miss

Apparently, someone hasn't been paying attention.

Everyone has a misinformed opinion about Hugh Freeze. He's not a good football coach. He's never won anything of significance. Lane Kiffin has done far more at Ole Miss than Hugh ever did.

The only thing Hugh managed to do was lure in recruits with hookers, and he's a great used car salesman with the "aw shucks" personality. And he beat Saban twice back when RPOs were still a gimmick and not the total MO of cfb.

He didn't really do anything impressive at Liberty. Auburn hired him because they thought he could beat Saban, but all that happened was 4th & 31, and Saban retired. So now they're stuck with Homeboy Hughey for better or worse. His future at Auburn will depend on his Iron Bowl record over the next 3 years

I don't cosign this. Freeze is a good coach. Freeze has never had a job that will spend money on players to go toe to toe with anyone before. So, what we're seeing is kind of new.

Hold that thought please?

Aubie is about to pluck 2 more out of the state of Mississippi. Hugh, Austin, Nix and company are just deciding which ones they want.

1952 was the last time you won 2 in a row.

Gee I guess that's what they said about Pat Dye following the 5-6 first season at Auburn.

You guys still have never made an SEC Title game. Unreal!

Freeze can recruit with the best of them, motivate better than most, and I think he's one of the best game day coaches as well. I think the only question about him is can he build something that's sustainable like what Kirby has done at GA or will he just win some big ones and lose some bad ones every year.

Hugh Freeze is 24-28 lifetime vs SEC opponents. And this guy will never get the spread effect that he enjoyed 15 years ago. Any more than Gus Malzon and Chip Kelly are scaring anyone with their offenses. We all are running a version of the zone read HUNH spread.

Pretty good for most Ole Miss coaches.
He's at a real program now and bringing in talent at a very good clip.

Washed up coach and staff. Fans and boosters are calling for his head. Can’t recruit or develop players with in one year. Not to mention terrible facilities and campus.
Nothing to see in Auburn!

Auburn seems to have a nasty habit of getting a coach and almost immediately turning on him. It honestly seems to be the worst place to work as far as expectations, and that's saying something.

Since 1993
Terry Bowden - resigned before he was fired (47–17–1. Even though the team was coming off of probation and went 11-0, that season didn't count. Won the West once - lost the Conf Champ game by 1)
Tommy Tuberville - see above (winning one conference championship, five division championships, including Auburn's sixth perfect season in school history)
Gene Chizik - terminated (won a natty in his 4 years)
Gus Malzahn - terminated (fifth on Auburn's all-time wins list, won an SEC championship and lost a national title game by 3)
Bryan Harsin - Boosters against him from day 1 - support eroding for him before the 1st season started. Who knows what he would have did - wasn't allowed to coach a full 2 seasons.
Hugh Freeze - interesting retread. Kiffin said frick off - so there they go. Freeze has completed one season, and just like with Harsin - booster egos getting in front of everything. Support starting to fall apart. If he has an average season - he is probably gone as well.

After you look at that - you know why Kiffin said hell no. If they get rid of Hugh, it's going to be hard to find a coach!

This is a false narrative. Oklahoma has had the exact same number of coaches in that time period. And that's not counting Stoops.

Not really. He had talent at Ole Miss and simply didn't dominate the average SEC teams. Just like he didn't beat teams like New Mexico State and Maryland last season. No excuse for that, but he's always done it.

Freeze had starting lineup talent at Ole Miss. He didn't have depth. Freeze beating Saban twice with very little depth speaks to his coaching acumen. The Auburn job can provide him depth. Some people here like to talk like every SEC job is created equally. They aren't. Ole Miss and MSU have split MS talent with the best MS talent historically and presently going to LSU, Bama, and Auburn. That's why in the past Ole Miss and MSU were so heavily invested in JUCO players. But, now with the portal and NIL you don't have to go JUCO.

Ole Miss got the top player in MS the last two years and last year got 5 of the state's top 10. I think this is all in your head.
