Is TAMU Overrated?

Yes, I know they gave Alabama a close game.
Yes, I know they have arguably the best QB in the nation.
But, are the Aggies overrated?
They lost to Alabama and Auburn, and nearly lost to Ole Miss. Also, they only beat Arkansas by 12.
Besides the narrow Ole Miss win, their only wins are:
Sam Houston State
SMU
Arkansas
Vanderbilt.
Theyre offense is great, but they are far from a complete team in my opinion.
& Im not saying they are terrible, but do you think they really are a #12 ranked team? Just a question for discussion, no butthurt please.

Overrated how? They have a legendary offense and a turnstile defense.
They're probably 12 or so, that's probably fair. Complete teams (Bama) and teams with excellent offenses and better defenses than them (Auburn) will beat them. Good teams without a comparable offense will lose, even with better defense (Ole Miss).
I think TAMU could light up a number of top 15 teams, so I don't think they're overrated.

Honestly, in a head to head match-up, they're probably underrated.

Nope not at all, one of the best offenses in the nation that puts up 40 a game on everyone in the toughest conference in the nation

at his point, we all know what A&M is... so I'm not sure how they're overrated.

They can hang 50 on anyone in the country... but give up 50 in the process. Every team they play will be in the game b/c of their lack of defense.

Best offense in the country IMHO...JFF deserves the Heisman...defense sucks...
They will be in every game they play because their offense is so good...they made Bama look like they had never played defense and they are arguably the best D in the SeC...No they are not overrated.

I'd say we are because of our defense, but we were actually in worse shape at this point last year. We were the same 6-2 but had escaped Ole Miss with a miracle and let La Tech drop 57 on us. We'll see how the second half of the season goes.
